Sombran Clerics

Each cleric must choose two domains.

Each cleric must be either a preacher (devoted to a congregation) or a holy one (doing Primus's will without a congregation).

A cleric is expected to have a Scripture, to be able to read Celestial (the language that Scripture is written in), and to keep the Scripture pure (that it, its glyph of warding should be active). The Elysombra Hub button shows the cleric Fywoff holding her Scripture.

Important cleric spells often require animal sacrifice as part of the ritual. For instance, you must sacrifice a healthy stallion as part of the raise dead spell. Very important spells can only be performed at an altar.

Altars must have access to Heaven. They can't be enclosed. This restriction does not apply to dwarven altars.

Domains
Primus has several domains, each named for a sentence from Scripture. Each cleric chooses two of them. You get the granted power for each, and access to the domain spells. Each day, you prep one domain spell from each level that you can cast, in addition to your regular spells. The domain spell for each level can come from either domain.

Primus's domains are:

"The Might of the Enemy is a Lie" (undoing undead, demons, etc.)
"Primus Commands" (divine authority)
"The Sun is the Visage of Primus" (light and power)
"Truth is a Brilliant Lamp" (knowledge and wisdom)
"Virtue is Strength" (might)
"You are a Shield of Steel" (protection)
"Your Enemies Fall Before You Like Wheat Before the Scythe, O Primus" (destruction)
