Sean re "
Damnation Wager"

I'll add another point to this discussion, borrowed from another website (you may actually mention this somewhere else on your site):

The atheist-or-Christian question is a false dichotomy because Christianity and atheism aren't the only choices available.

Even if you limit the scope of your choices to just the three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) and atheism, you see that your odds of being correct aren't 50%, they're 25%, for if you choose to be Jewish, Christian, or Atheist and God is Muslim then you still go to Hell. Then consider that there are many sects within each branch of these religions (Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, Mormon, and so on, and that's just in the Christianity category) and your odds drop even more. Then consider that there are dozens if not hundreds of non-Abrahamic religions, and any of them might be the "right" one, rendering your choice of Christianity, Islam, or Judaism the "wrong" choice and sending you to Hell. Thus, the Christian/ atheist argument is flawed.
